Recently, threenew exciting models of the DongfengNano Box, a cutting-edge small pure electric SUV, have been officially unveiled in China by Dongfeng EV. As a dedicated business unit under the esteemed Dongfeng Group, the Nano Box division focuses on innovating small pure electric vehicles and is in the process of developing a new platform for future small EVs.
Originally conceptualized by Renault as the Ren Kwid, the electric variant known as the City K-ZE is manufactured in China byDongfeng-Ren, and is exported to Europe as the Dacia Spring. Dongfeng's extensive lineup also features other variants such as the Dongfeng Aeolus EX1, Dongfeng Fengxing T1, Dongfeng Fengguang E1, Venucia e30, and the Dongfeng Nano Box, all produced in the same state-of-the-art facility.
As anticipated for a model akin to the Dacia Spring, the Nano Box is economically efficient. It boasts a single motor delivering 33 kW (45 PS) of power and a maximum torque of 125 Nm. It accelerates from 0 to 50 km/h (31 mph) in just 6 seconds, although its 0 to 100 km/h time remains unspecified. The 27.2 kWh battery charges from 30% to 80% in a swift 30 minutes.
Inside, the Nano Box offers a 7-inch instrument cluster display, a 10-inch infotainment screen, and an elegant dual-color design matching its exterior. With a 2+2 seating arrangement, the car measures 3,732 mm (146") in length, 1,579 mm (62.1") in width, and 1,515 mm (59.6") in height, featuring a 2,423 mm (95.3") wheelbase.
The Nano Box is powered by a front motor with an output of 33 kW and 125 Nm.

states that the car's official 0-50 km/h acceleration time is 6 seconds. Equipped with a CATL lithium iron phosphate battery of 15.97 kWh capacity, it achieves a CLTC pure electric cruising range of 201 km.
